It says something about us and our better nature. The idea of popular culture bringing people together: solidarity. Most of the worked one here has looked to dysfunctions. Historically, popular culture has been threatening to white culture since it highlights things that aren"t deemed as important . Being exposed to so many things, it numbs you and makes you think it"s not that important. Provide opportunities for bonding experiences between family & friends (bringing people together)
