Attachment theory: how you interact with parents early in your life impacts your relationships with people now and your personality. Bowlby: early relationships with caregiver can develop either- Anxious/avoidant attachment >> if neglected, parents aren"t around, avoid eye contact, acts sullen around mother etc. When mom left and came back, is upset.
