Quote of the week: the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice. mlk. The degree to which you can produce the same finding or phenomenon consistently. The degree to which you are actually measuring what you want, or are trying to measure. Degree to which a finding generalizes beyond those individuals directly studied or to different situations. Most research is done in the us, otherwise in other places similar. More industrialized places like us lead you to think the lines are very different in length, and less industrialized think they are closer. This is because they are not quite used to lots of buildings and corners/lines constructed like that. Internal validity is to causality, as external validity is to generalizability. Examines the influence of culture on psychological processes. Theory of mind is a phenomenon we see in even children age 4-5, to think about the beliefs/desires/contents in the mind of another person.
