This issue affects all black americans but does it affect all black americans equally . Naacp"s lobbying to keep affirmative action did not apply to all blacks either. What if their high school wasn"t good enough to prepare them for college? . Excludes people too far away from the middle. Intersects with social, political, military elite status. Not just about $ shared networks, histories, perspectives. All organized groups have viable chance for representation of interests. Based off research, the economic elites and elite-based groups hold the most power, no surprise . The economic elites hold power over elected officials because of money and shared network and social capital. The logic would be for both candidates to move towards the middle and to be more centrist to gain the most votes.
