When the jim crow laws were deemed unconstitutional, a new ideology emerged called color blindness to continue the racial order. He introduces the first frame, abstract liberalism, which associates with equal opportunity. The second frame, naturalization, elaborates on racial inequality as natural occurrences (28). The whites uses the phrase is just the way things are" to explain segregation and discrimination. For example, people self-segregates themselves into the community with people they are similar with. The third frame, cultural racism, demonstrates the stereotypes of minorities. All the civilians response to why blacks have a lower status to whites were similar. The fourth frame, minimization of racism, is the establishment of color-blind racism.
