Final exam will be next week thursday june 9 (1:30 - 3:30pm) The rest of the world is a mirror of what is going on here. We still maintain national, regional, and cultural identities. This leads to the second impact of globalization: greater economic and cultural integration, further entrenches the differences between the haves and the have-nots. There is a developing world and developed world. But there is also a developing world within the developed world. Also there is a developed world within the developing world. Alarming inequality in countries like brazil, china, india. In the first class of this course, i discussed comparison. Theories and frameworks give you different windows through which to view the world. Political science seeks to explain parts of the world by simplifying reality in some way. We try to take this complex reality and analyze it. No right answers but more logical, more creative, and better supported ones.
