Ex) key can refer to a bone in an animal, or the thing we use to lock a door with. Just - if you abide by the law; lawful. Aristotle does not go in depth on this. The law can legislate behavior - it can tell you what to do, but it cannot enter your soul and determine the structure. The law cannot tell you what to do for the right reason. The law just tells you to behave the way a virtuous person behaves (outside behavior; public behavior) This behavior doesn"t have to be decisive. Justice seems to be supreme among the virtues. B/c it seems to incorporate all the virtues. Fairness has to do w/ the sharing of goods.
