Was held in state farms in which workers shared in the profits. 25% was divided into individual farms for the peasants by 1970 real wages for rural and urban workers had tripled. Mansions were expropriated and turned into apartments. Rent control was imposed no rent could exceed 10% of earning power. Now be considered basic civil rights of citizens. Che guevara"s organizes groups of students to live among poor peasants to teach basic reading and math skills.
