Difficult to do in complex, global market. Different levels of corruption, oversight, legislation, etc. Social relationships not confined within national boundaries. Plagued by structural issues that need structural solutions. Too many mediating causes + actions, asymmetries of power. Legal liability model -> wants to assign blame. There are special export processing zones that are exempt from regulations. System makes it difficult for those who want to make things better. Millions of people participating in local market place. Moral commitment made to other people because of participation in global market. We are connected to processes of production + need to create incentives for participating in markets that are positively driven. Duty of more fortunate nations to look to the future + try to be collaborative. Also need to make a legal commitment. Cannot escape obligations by saying you don"t know someone. Know that the workers exist + cannot ignore them.
