Ten- shu meant protector of heaven, also means lord of heaven almost deity. We can see how secularization is taking ideas from religion. Gold screens is a form of painting, had a lot of gold leaf. Power goble & chinese goble are components of castle design. Kano eitoku, cypress, 8-panel folding screen, ink, pigment, gold leaf on paper, 1590. Lots of gold was attached to these. Very splendid and the gold shows the wealth of the castle. Analyzation of this picture is called composition. Draw a horizontal rectangle and know whether you looking at the detail or the whole thing.
