This daughter will become known as a female husband . A female husband is usually an older woman (40 or older) She will be given cattle to own. She will also be expected to marry a women (just as a son would do) The wife of the female husband will be encourage to take a lover & become pregnant - have as many children as possible! One other reason for making a woman in nuer society into a female husband. An elderly widow has no children to care for her.
