The body is not his source of his collapse; it is the internal apparatus and the world around him, he"s fighting. Very represented in the media, very visible to other disabled people, they think they have to be this spectacular in order to be valid. The idea of normality and desire come in, the same way heterosexuality is a norm. And the most desirable way to be is able-bodied. The idea of normalcy, critiques these ideas connected to repetitive performances. A lot of this is about how there isn"t an origin, something that changes over time, and is to be adjusted.
