The idea of how information lost its body. i. e. how information came to be conceptualized as an entity separate from the material forms that it is thought to be embedded. How the cyborg was created as an artifact and cultural icon in the years following. The construction of informational pathways is central to the construction of the cyborg. Information can be thought as a disembodied entity that can flow between carbon- based organic compounds, to silicon base components. From norbert wiener on, the flow of information through feedback loops has been associated with the deconstruction of the liberal humanist subject. The posthuman view privileges informational patter over material instantiation. Humans co-evolved with technology, this separates us from other animals along with the use of symbolic thinking. The posthuman view considers consciousness as an epiphenomenon. The posthuman subject is a material-information entity whose boundaries undergo continuous construction and reconstruction.
