You"ve become friends with a couple, and they"ve confided in you that they"re expecting their first child. They haven"t spent much time around children before, and they"re hoping that you can give them some advice based on your learning about development. Based on your learning so far, make three research- based recommendations these parents who want to have their first child. Detail each recommendation clearly, making references to specific pages in your reading: my first recommendation includes ensuring you exhibit appropriate behaviors when your child might be watching you. This is connected to the evidence presented on page 45 of the textbook on which we learn that children can learn behaviors from those being modeled by the people in their environment. Based on this evidence, it"s in this couple"s best interest to spend time ensuring they monitor the things their children might see. I would advise them to have heated conversations in private and when emotions are not high.
