Document Summary
Bring your own scantron sheet (ucd 2000, blue or red): there will be none available from the proctors. Pencils and an eraser will also be needed. There will be 40 multiple choice questions, constituting 40% of your total grade. In addition, there will be 4 multiple choice questions as extra credits, allowing you to add up to 4% to your total score. About 90% of the questions will be based on the questions listed at the beginning of each lecture (i call them lecture questions). The rest will come from what were discussed in the lectures. No question will be asked about something hidden in the textbook that did not appear in the lectures. There is no need to remember scientific names of species unless i specifically said something. A list of important species names has been posted on the web. Pay attention to principles, rather than minor details.
