Higher acidity prevents formation/corrodes shells of mollusks/skeletons of fish b/c co2 from air binds to free h in water which they need to build these items. Inhibits predator ability to sense food which affects trophic relationships. Ex: sharks can"t even recognize or won"t attack prey. Algae living on coral, which give color, are stressed by increased makes ke the of fish here.
