Organism - life forms: composed of , energy, cells, unicellular, multicellular. Cells (muscle cell) -> tissue (muscle tissue) -> organ (bicep) -> organ. Science is not : recalling specific info about the world, memorizing information, a process that seeks truth, pseudoscience, religion, superstition. Scientific method: make observations, proposing ideas, make a hypothesis, experiment, analyze data, compare/ show results. Hypothesis - a tentative answer to a well framed question. In order for a statement to be a hypothesis it has to be testable (possible to evaluate) and falsifiable (potentially wrong/ false) Supernatural and religious explanations are outside the bounds of science. Theory - untested ideas based on little information ( professor definition ). A supposition or system of ideas intended to explain something, especially one based on general principles independent of the thing to be explained. Scientific theory - powerful broad explanation for related observation. Supported by different, independent lines of research.
