Commercial whaling: non-lethal means of resistance (not quite so defensible, global issue deserves some sort of response. Generate some sort of even playing field. Prevent exploitative, unfair trade other people can benefit to the exclusion of others. Sea turtles are global creatures, deserve global protection.
