Sex biological, physiological traits distinguishing males from females: biological influence. Both sex and gender are continuums, not isolated binaries. Societies thinks men and women are the other" to each other: however, there is more variability within each group than between the two groups. Societies sees the biology as implying the social: i. e. that your sex implies your gender, but there is not accurate, this belief allows people to use sex and gender interchangeably. We are still unsure as to how much biology directly translates into psychological characteristic. White feminism: a huge part of being a feminist is giving other women the freedom to make choices you might not necessarily make for yourself lena dunham. It is not a woman"s issue, but a human issue as it affects us all: talking about issues only concerning higher level white women. Wage inequality being at 70cent to the dollar only applies to white women.
