Being a good daughter means not giving my parents grief for the mistakes they"ve made, doing what i"m asked possibly even before they ask it, and being generally a non- nuisance. Do you have any siblings, if so, lest each and their ages. Our closeness level has changed because we barely acknowledged each other in high school and now that we aren"t ever together we try and stay in contact and get along. There hasn"t been much change here because we were never that close to begin with. We have gotten closer since i"ve grown up and we worked together for a month in close proximity. We haven"t, other than with jackson there hasn"t been much conflict because of the large age gap. And then with conflict it was usually a screaming match about how stupid. Independence: internalizing the messages given from parents to teach us how to be independent. Contradictory feelings are common: closeness, happiness.
