Document Summary

The concept of african eve is an especially intriguing debate of how homo erectus dispersed from africa to asia, compared to that of the out-of-africa hypothesis. By studying mitochondrial dna they estimated that the ancestors of all surviving mt. African eve this one woman was able to igure out a way to have a child come out head irst in labor through genetic mutation. This drastically changed child labor, all because of this woman who we are all theorized to have descended from. Also because of this new genetic mutation, women had a larger loss of blood, therefore the men had to hunt more often and provide iron for the women. This is all truly amazing to see how far technology has come, and how it can be used in various ways in order to the most eicient and practical way of surviving. All of this can go to show how much you can learn by studying dna.
