A model that describes the relationship between self-disclosure and self-awareness. The what: how you behave, how you communicate. Cant see what"s causing you to behave/communicate the way you do. An explanation (larry crab came up with iceberg explanation) We take these needs and we have experiences. Ex: need food, craving white castle so you go to white castle= experience. Ex: need for food, want to feel safe, eat warm food at home= experience. We develop beliefs of: ourselves, others, outside world (nature of universe, ex: god can"t exist and not exist (nature) Some are right, wrong, some base our entire lives on these beliefs. Developed to get needs met, to survive etc. Pinpoint something in my life that you feel like has developed a strategy in your life.
