Zes gets metis (cleverness), who is technically his cousin, to help him by feeding. First he spits up rock, then zeus" brothers and sisters after. He impregnates metis and gives birth to athena (god of war) He also eats athena, had bad headaches and had his son crack his head open to relieve theme but athena pops out and is ready to fight. First generation of gods (insert picture here) Fought older gods in order to prove himself that he should be head god. The hecatonchires, cyclopes, themis and her son, prometheus (2 titans) side with zeus. Zeus" side wins, atlas is punished by having to hold up the heaven. Prometheus has him tied to a pillar every night to eat his liver over and over again bc he stole fire from gods and gave to mortals. After titanomachy, zeus had to battle the giants.
