Most positions get appointed, system that is controlled by aristocrats. Patrick henry (virginia) refused to go to constitutional convention because it was a bad idea, he was scared of presidency. Complained that position was too weak, if electoral college can"t choose a president. Difference between a monarch and what the president will ultimately be. President"s veto goes through is congress does not look at in 10 days. Explain each piece of constitution with a positive spin. Congress has to approve and gets passed along to president. If he vetoes it goes back to congress and needs a votes from house and senate. Federalists papers: written by hamilton, madison, jay that explained what the constitution was and why it should be adopted.
