Didnt think government was actually going to create the environment and society they promised. Thought industrial revolution did not benefit the masses as it should have. Believed there was always a shortage of everything, because it had to be handmade afford that mass quantities. Could be a reasonable cost, there will be enough resources for everybody. Nature had made it so people couldn"t have things previously, but now they thoguht people couldn"t have things they needed and wanted due to capitalism and industrial revolution.
