Document Summary

Philosophers: democracy in the view of clps. Of the classical liberal philosophers who did believe in democracy, they advocated for a direct one. The only thing the social contract theorists really agreed on was that god did. They all believed that the legitimate way a government should have come into existence was through people"s invention of it. Beyond that, they all have very different views even about social contract: democratic ideology: all of these beliefs and values put together not just. Theory itself one thing: if people did not believe many of those views are true, then it would be hard to envision that a democratic political system would work. Liberal democracy: a principle democracy that is very democratic and adheres to the principles, but is also incorporated into the way the government officials work (i. e. laws, policies, etc. ) Process democracy: the idea that there is no philosophical basis that democracy is built on.
