Not expert in what client is thinking but only the process of helping. No one method of therapy is better than the other. Ethical for helper to figure out how to deal/ cope w/ emotions or have client return at a different time. Principles/ standards ensuring quality service and respect of rights of people professionals are working with. General principles- aspirational, providing broader framework for ethical decision making. Principle a: beneficence and nonmaleficence (no harm to the client)
