Physically abuse them until complies (then show affection again) Assign shame, humiliation, and guilt that victim feels toward the way people outside of prostitution life view them (that"s us!!!) Emotional and physical abuse by their clients and traffickers as well as sexual torture. Victims use substances to cope with the trauma. Complications with self-esteem, suicidal tendencies, and intimacy issues.
