The cloning of a cell/an organism is the creation of another cell/organism that is genetically identical to that cell/organism: kass"s goal. Kass"s goal is to show that human cloning is immoral and should not be allowed: reasons against cloning. Reason 1: cloning humans is very likely to produce a considerable number of unhealthy, abnormal, and malformed children. Reason 2: human cloning may result in significant psychological harm to the cloned children. Reason 4: cloning will destroy the healthy parent-child relationship: potential response to kass. Response to reason 1: we can wait until we are capable of producing only healthy clones. Response to reason 3: kass"s support for this reason involves the assumption that those who create clones are always superior to the clones. Response to reason 4: kass"s support for this claim involves the assumption that a clone"s parents will treat him as their possession.
