There are 6 aggressive findings in sports (research) Losers commit more fouls than winners as a result of frustration. When playing on home field, they commit less fouls than at visiting arena. When a lot of points are being scored, there are less fouls: just (cid:449)a(cid:374)t to s(cid:272)ore, do(cid:374)"t (cid:449)orry a(cid:271)out the fouls. When a ref lowers the standard of play, more fouls occur: refs are in charge of holding the standard of play. There are more fouls committed by lower rankings against higher ranking teams: believe that they can beat them by beating them. In close games, there are less fouls committed: a player does not want to be responsible for committing that made their team lose. Coaches really mean to be more assertive, not aggressive. Boys without a father in the first five years are found to be less assertive, and in some cases, less competitive.
