Democracy- has been practiced by people throughout the world to varying degrees. The word democracy derives from two greek words: Democracy is a system of government in which the majority of the people rule but the rights of the minority are protected. What are some elements for a stable government: constitution: the legal framework for a basic law of a society. Determines duties for governmental institutions and agencies.
