If something isn"t working and you think it should be, save, quit matlab, try again. Won"t be using toolboxes in this class. If caret ^ looks tiny on vcl: go to local matlab on computer, type ^ and copy and paste it into vcl. Use up arrow and scroll to find past codes in script/file. Clear and clear all will clear all variables. To clear one variable: clear x r = 5 %r = sphere radius. Type in any code and it"ll run. Can run m-files by typing name of file. Help to view matlab page with help topics. Help lang for summary of language constructs. You can find what basic function, command, etc you want to know more about. Help if for help with if statements. Doc if gives more information than help if and pulls it up in a new window. Lookfor command followed by a word will show you all commands that use that word.
