When first came out had interesting effects: business could pay to have more pokemon (lures) show up at their location, clinton used it in her campaign. Game gave importance to public spaces like parks, memorials. Some places like cemeteries and holocaust memorial museum had issues with this. Big idea: this video game was unique because caught wide attention very quickly in unusual places. Values: positives of the game: collaboration, competition, embrace social spaces- go out in public, didn"t exactly mean, exercise. Politics: medal of honor: play as taliban. Labeling caused upset in people that saw it as going to far and that it valorized the killing of us soldiers.
