Each 50 states has their own constitutional law. Based on federal constitution, but differences you don"t need to know modeled on us constitution. Dc has charter, similar to but not exactly the same as constitution. Trans pacific partnership trump pulled out, never approved or submitted to senate, until treaty voted by senate in it doesn"t go into effect. A statute is a law and a law is a statue. On federal level: starts out as a bill. In state: passed by legislature, signed by becomes law. Ucc: sale of goods, most goods subject to it. Precedent: if judge gets a case, prior case that"s similar, the case decided correctly, uses the prior case as precedent to give out similar decision, not required to follow precedent. Explains why precedent previously poorly decided in holding. Restatements: suggestions about what the law out to be in specific subject areas. Not actual law, suggestion about what the law should be.
