Religion consists of beliefs and behavior related to supernatural beings and forces. Worldview the way a people characteristically look upon the universe: cosmology, cultural views about the nature of the world, mythology, cultural views about how the world came to be the way it is. Impersonal supernatural force: mana force that is free-floating and capable of inhabiting many different things. Religious entities: ghosts, ancestor spirits, animism, nature spirit, gods & theism, powerful and remote spiritual being, theism. Intermediary (priests, munks: religion focused on gods, monotheism, focused on one god, polytheism, focused on multiple gods, forces, power that exists in and flows through nature and sometimes human beings, chi energy, prana. Religious change: religions are subject to change, most dramatic change process comes through revitalization movements, revitalization movements, efforts by members of a society to construct a more satisfying culture. Interpreting spirits: prophet, receive direct communication from a spirit.
