The two main characters, jackie and david siegel, have their opinion towards work portrayed in the documentary as a trophy wife who only cares about appearance, and a work-obsessed man who cares little about his children"s" lives, respectively. In anne fausto-sterling"s book, sexing the body, gender" is defined simply as a psychological transformation that implies certain gender norms," again which sexing the body defines as. Fausto-sterling then goes on to explain how these gender differences could be changed, even though sex, the scientific distinction between a man and woman, might not be able to be changed. Change" that fausto-sterling describes is evident in queen of versailles due to the intersection between gender and class.
