Ok, i am going to start class today with a video of a song from my second favorite musical, Because pippin is a musical about the search for a meaningful life: What sort of life should i lead: many of these questions are intertwined, and as usual, we will not settle on answers to these questions today. Albert camus (1913-1960) was a french philosopher and author. He is a nobel prize winning author, and his works focused on the idea of the absurd. Though he has often been described as an existentialist, he did not like that label.
