Humans have the most bone by the late 20s (bone is denser) The max is mainly genetically controlled (29, storage denser bone) Can be much less if not enough calcium or vit. Childhood (later 20) - formation of bone tissue is greater than breakdown. Adults 35-45yrs -> bone density stay the same. Adults 45+ (bone density ) - breakdown is greater than formation. Breakdown is much greater than formation (o2 level drop cause bone meltdown) Can risk of cancer: calcium, phosphorus, fluoride, vit a and d, calcium (1000 ml/d) Osteoporosis: bone disease that occur when the body loses a lot of bone, makes few bone, / both (2nd) If there is enough calcium, body with tale from bone tissue.
