Cyclothymic disorder: cyclothymic disorder fluctuations that alternate between hypomania and depressive symptoms. Symptoms not as severe as with full mania or major depression. Unpredictable mood changes that lead to impairment. Lifetime prevalence: . 04% to 1. 1% for bipolar i & ii: age of onset often late teens early twenties, few differences by sex, race/ethnicity, or family income level.
