Dramatic dynamic shifts heighten minor key tension. Aba1form allows voice to display range, technique, and lyricism: requiem (unfinished) Soloists with orchestra in addition to choir. Mozart"s (cid:373)usic toward the e(cid:374)d of his life reflects movement towards the more dissonant, emotional style of the romantic era. Notable in the dies irae (day of wrath) Fragments of last movements, but notably lesser quality.
