Cultures will interact and change one another through their contacts: trading, development projects, education, migration, tourism, etc. Three main ways it changes: innovation, cultural interaction, invention. Innovation: a new way of thinking of something that exists. Cultural interaction: diffusion/borrowing (believing something is yours but it is taken from another cultural originally), usually reevaluation of one"s culture based on those that are different. Materials, social life of people, working life, moral issues (human rights), political. Change does not happen at the same pace or way in all cultures. Globalization: increase and intense international ties relating to spread of western life in contemporary culture change capitalism affecting all world cultures. Global interconnectedness, movement of goods/information/people is a major factor.
