Women expect to get a self-sustained job = expectation of equal treatment by men. However traditional gendered relationships assume traditional gender roles. Idea that women must feel worthy of love/commitment by waiting for a man to take initiative. Men get to choose; for a woman to be chosen is the ultimate success .
