The day after tomorrow- it would really take decades for planet earth to change, rather than a few days. The theoretical stop of the gulf stream can have massive effects!- without the gulf stream brining warm water northward, the eastern u. s. would cool in decades. Global weirding (a result of global warming)- climate change leads to more extremes, changes weather patterns by moving heat around the globe in different ways: erratic climate change, wet places get wetter, dry places get drier. Climate vs weather: weather- atmospheric conditions at a particular place and time. Temperature, precipitation, wind speed, cloud cover, humidity, etc: climate- average weather conditions over a long period, repeater pattern of weather, average temperature and average precipitation, 30+ year trend. Climate change is a shift in the long-run average of weather think about it this way: climate trains the weather, but weather throws the punches .
