Breech position- butt first is a problem. If the mother is rh- and the baby is rh+ the mother creates antibodies. This is a problem because those antibodies will stick around and will attack the baby"s. Thalidomide- sold as a tranquilizer, in europe it was used and was thought to be so safe that even pregnant women could take it. Pregnant women took it and it caused deformities in infants.
