It is good to use property in common but it is best for people to own property privately, by benefiting from their own property and give others benefits. Men who leave the polis to act on their own personal needs become irrational (c- 54) Man is a social creature that is hard wired to live together. Aristotle- if you choose not to live in a community you are choosing to be irrational. Concept of middle class is necessary for a stable community. Wealth to help others in the polis - (pg 73, 2c,1p) (aka charity)
