Infants length is increased 50% rst year and double by age. Under age 2 no diets concerning low calorie or fat. Breast feeding: recommended for fewer food allergies less overfeeding cost affective and mother baby bonding. Growth slows in late childhood but then once adolescence is reached rapid physical growth, hormonal changes and endocrine function occurs. Typically adolescents need more than 3 meals daily to reach these requirements. Healthy food choices are important for this reason.
