ECE 2323 Lecture Notes - Lecture 7: Operational Amplifier, Ni Multisim
Document Summary
The overall objective of this lab was to experiment with various operational amplifiers and analyze their individual properties. Operational amplifiers follow specific rules in the way they operate and in the values they produce. We explore the traits of these amplifiers in this lab. To begin this lab we are first provided with an operational amplifier. We start by deriving an expression for the amplification a=vo/vi. We do this for three different operational amplifier configurations, inverting, non-inverting, and summing. Once our calculations are finished we build each circuit in multisim accordingly to find the values of voltage and current through the amplifiers. Lastly we construct each circuit in hardwire and manually find the values of voltage and current through the amplifier and compare these values to each other for further analysis. After experimenting with operational amplifiers we have confirmed their individual properties.
