Usually when recruiting governors there is a considerable amount of prior experience in public affairs. However, it is common for recruiting governors to have experience in statewide, elected offices. Universally, all governors being recruited need to have some sense of political ambition, which is the same among all that run. Sometimes these governors that are running may have aspirations to become presidents, especially if they are large state governors. Gubernatorial: relating to state governor or the office of state governors. These certain elections are going to always be partisan based rather than creating competition to attain the office or position.
