Oxycodone oral medications are generally prescribed for relief of moderate to severe pain. Low dosage have also been prescribed for relief of pain and diarrhea. Whe sold commercially in us, always combined with another medication. Does not have effect on respirations and bp. Fentanyl = approximately 100 times more potent than morphine. Fat soluble, so caution must be given to those taking fentanyl. Increasing numbers of abusers during past few years.
