But due to the lack of cont ribution by the rest of western society, anthropologists have to do both tasks. Anthropology - study of human kind, at all places and time, includes evolution and non homo sapiens. Between humanities and social sciences groups in liberal arts. Humanities - don"t use the scientific method (ie. history, theatre, art. Social sciences - attempt to use the scientific method to learn about people (ie. psychology, sociology) Actively connected to science, with biology, which social sciences don"t. Have a long time depth, we look at everything, while others look at a certain timeline because of documents and data. Sometimes we focus on one of these that we forget that we are the same/different. Uniformity - understanding what it means to be human, what makes us different (ie. using tools, caring for offspring) Diversity within humans (ie. food, culture, dances, marriages)
